When a visitor types a name or place into a search box, the entry goes to the company that runs that search service. Its systems process the request and return the response. Those query terms are not recorded or retained on our systems.

The site identifies the official custodians of Montgomery County records, including the Sheriff's Office, Clerk of Superior Court, North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, and North Carolina Sex Offender and Public Protection Registry. Access to government-held criminal investigative and arrest information follows G.S. 132-1.4 and other applicable law, not this private privacy policy.
